In the beginning of this week I was somewhat busy :)

Friday: Listened on Ylex on the bus at 18 o'clock

Saturday: Listened on Nrj at the gym between 10-11:30 o'clock, Ylex radio-popup at home between 13:30-15:00 o'clock, Youtube at 22 o'clock

Sunday: Listened on Nrj at the gym between 10-11 o'clock, Ylex radio-popup at home between 12-14 o'clock

"Customized music and announcings"

Listener can choose from different genres, which music he wants to listen. It is possible to choose which announcings he listens to: the latest news, sports, weather, time, chattering and joking, guest interviews or discussions etc.  There is also assortment of audiobooks. There are no commercials but it makes a monthly payment for the listener.

"Lifestyle radio"

The channels are aimed to exact listener groups. There is a channel for children and another for pet owners. The other channel is for housewifes and the other for fashionistas, for example.

Personas for future listeners

Ida is a 24 years old student who lives in Rovaniemi. She studies pedagogics. She spends her freetime reading, jogging and visiting her friends.

Ida usually listens to music at home via internet. She never listens to traditional radio because she wants to decide music genre by herself. She also reads the latest news and weather on her smartphone rather than listening on radio. She uses application that offers set-up playlists. She chooses playlist based on her mood at the time: dance music when she needs power, ballads when she just wants to relax. While jogging, she listens to music on her smartphone.

Riku is 34 years old and he lives in Espoo with his wife. He works as a marketing officer. His hobbies are gym, cooking and travelling.

Riku listens to music on his way to work and at gym. He can't stand commercials and list hits which are played over and over again. On the other hand he doesn't have time to choose which songs to listen to. That's why customized radio is his favourite. He likes to choose music based on ongoing situation.
